What we collect

  • Voting: your ballot (the ranking you submit) tied to an anonymous identifier. No name, no email, no account is required to vote.
  • Accounts (optional): your email address if you create an account to manage polls.
  • Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation, never your card details.
  • Technical: standard logs (IP, user agent) from Google Cloud, and bot-protection signals via reCAPTCHA. No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no data sales - ever.
  • Aggregate usage counts: we count daily totals - page views by section, polls created, ballots cast - plus which site referred you. These are anonymous counters with no user identifier, no cookies, and no browsing history. We also collect anonymous page-speed telemetry (Firebase Performance) to keep the site fast.

How voting data works

On free polls, ballots (rankings only, no identity) are readable so results can be tabulated in your browser. On Pro polls with private results, ballots are readable only by the poll creator. Poll creators see vote tallies, not voter identities - we don't have voter identities to show.

Where data lives

Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (United States). Polls stay up until their creator deletes them. Deleting your account or a poll removes the associated data from production systems.

Your rights
